Early Childhood Chat Room for School District Administrators

As more and more focus is being put on Early Childhood Education both on the state and federal level, Special Education and other district and building level Administrators are realizing the need to better understand preschool and the requirements as it relates to serving preschool aged children with disabilities.  Administrators find themselves faced with many questions, challenges and opportunities related to school district programming for preschool children with disabilities.

The Race2K project facilitates on-line discussions for Administrators to learn, share strategies, ideas and activities that help support quality early childhood and early childhood special education programs.  These “Early Childhood Chats” are opportunities for the various administrators involved in district-operated preschool programs to build relationships, common knowledge and connect with administrators from other districts.

Early Childhood Chat room discussions are a mix of presentations, structured discussions and opportunities to network among colleagues.  Through topical discussion, participants will share ideas and strategies to support preschool children with disabilities.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited to 12 participants (individuals or teams).  Once you register, you will be given log-in information and instructions.
