More Than a Chat Room Series

Some topics need more that just a discussion!

Race2K had developed the More Than A Chat Series to help school district staff dig a little deeper and learn along side their peers.  These 3 to 4 part facilitated peer-to-peer series focus on topics identified by the field and the NH DOE and support staff to find ways to use new learning in their classrooms and programs. 

  • While we encourage more than one participant from a district or program participate, it is not required. 

  • You must commit to attending all sessions in the series (or if signing up as a program/district, a representative must attend all sessions)

  • Registration/participation in a series capped at 15 (individuals or districts)

While More Than a Chat Series will not be recorded, participants will be able to access information shared during the sessions through the Race2K website.  You will be provided more information upon registering. 

Life After Covid: Planning for What Comes Next for District Operated Preschool Programs

It’s hard to imagine anything other than dealing with the here and now of the pandemic.  While there isn’t exactly a clear time frame or path to “returning to normal”, there are things we should be thinking about to help make the back to school experience smoother for 2021.  We invite district and school level Preschool Administrators and staff to join us in this 4 part, facilitated peer-to-peer series to develop ideas to address the unique needs of the preschool population in school and district plans for the fall of 2021.

Curriculum plays a critical role in education. In this three part introductory series we will begin to explore the role early childhood curriculum has in district operated preschool programming and how it is being used to support all student learning.

Examining Our Preschool Processes: Evaluation
Four Sessions

Join us for this four-part series to support school district staff in examining their processes for evaluating preschool aged children referred for special education. We will explore important considerations for evaluation planning, the use of evaluation tools and their administration, as well as the role of observation in the assessment process. Next steps for using the information in eligibility, identification and IEP development will complete the series.
